Maritime Logistics Community News : December 2008
NAVY SUPPLY NEWSLETTER SPRING 2008 27 While we all enjoyed the chance to do some gift shopping for Christmas and also to be able to visit the local areas, it was also a chance for us to reflect on how lucky we are as Australians to have such a high standard of living and education. There was lots to see and even more to buy, lots of cheap rum, cigars and for those included, shopping, shopping and more shopping. The second night was a chance for a couple of us to attend the Philippine Navy’s welcome reception for PARRAMATTA; it was definitely a welcome change for us to be on the other side of the fence and not have to worry about anything.
