31 NAVY SUPPLY NEWSLETTER SUMMER 2010 What's in a name? A name is just a word - until it gains a reputation. We have a good name and reputation, supporting the RAN for over 10 years - so why would we change it? Today, as part of the Toll Group, we link even the most remote locations into a global logistics network. To re ect our place as the remote logistics specialists of Toll, we are changing our name to Toll Remote Logistics. What won't change though is our commitment to responsive and reliable service - that will never change. REMOTE LOGISTICS is now... CMDR Malcolm joined JLU(W) in January 2009. During the handover ceremony, she took the opportunity to award a couple of CO's commendations, including one to CPOSN Pete Hearn, for his outstanding contribution as the I/C of Submarine Support in the Fleet Logistics Support Element. As part of the handover ceremony, CMDR Malcolm was also promoted to Captain, the rank she will wear as Director ANZAC Systems Program Office. Following the handover ceremony, CAPT Malcolm was driven ashore in a convertible, although she didn't want to be seen in the car as it had Collingwood number plates. The unit then farewelled the outgoing CO at lunch at the local Port Kennedy Tavern. CMDR Opie has joined after his tenure as Supply Officer HMAS ANZAC.
